"It's just a general idea. It could be what you like to do like for me, I'm in band on the drum line. Have faith in the goals you just want to complete."

"What's an obstacle that makes it difficult to reach your goals?"

"A big thing is money and peer influences. Like getting a car requires money. And going to college? You need money... and a brain."

"Do I have to smile?"

"Doing sports after school and then going home."

"Volleyball and basketball."

"It's fun. I like the view."

"I don't know. As of right now, where I'm gonna go to college. Or a better question would be how I'm gonna pay for college."

"Do you have any idea of where you want to go?"

"If I get into Berkeley, I'm gonna go to Berkeley."

"Yes, ma'am."

"Eating noodles with my fellow FIDM-ians."

"What's a FIDM-ian?"

"A person who goes to FIDM club. You know Floridians from Florida? FIDM-ians."

"I guess I could say my high grades."

"Why your grades? Is that a high priority for you?"

"It makes me feel like I've accomplished something."
